Title: Raisin Muffins

Yield: 15 Servings
Ingredients:
2 cups of all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
4 tablespoons of sugar
4 tablespoons of shortening
1 egg
3/4 cup of milk
3/4 cup of chopped raisins
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Cream shortening. Add sugar and blend well.
Add beaten egg and chopped raisins. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk.
Stir only enough to mix ingredients together. Drop by spoonfuls into greased muffin tins, filling each 2/3 full.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes.
